The great march of Mriganka Gupta was stopped by Sriram Ravichandran. Gupta who kept shouting encouragements at himself was seen rallying with much vigour against Sriram. A national level champion Sriram won the tussle 21-15, 21-19.

Sriram now progresses to the Semi Finals....Congrtulations Sriram!!!!

As for Mriganka Gupta, I am sure he had a great time playing against the young turks . Kudos to you, you have lost a game but instead charmed many a hearts with your zealous and sportive enthusiasm.
