Badminton Singles Final
What a treat it was! It lived up to it's billing as a grand finale where the spectators and the players enjoyed a thrilling fight to the finish! Manish won a hard-fought battle against his worthy opponent Mahesh to be crowned the badminton singles badshah of GFIC. Manish's smashes found answers in Mahesh's drops, and as the match progressed, the game got even more entertaining. Manish got the upper hand in the first set, winning it 15-6.
The second started with Mahesh getting into the lead at 3-0, before Manish got back in the groove (15-10). Backed by a crowd cheering both of them, the players gave their best performance and the energy-sapping game was finally won by a very deserving Manish!
